It's A Knockout

Our It's A Knockout Competition was held on Saturday 17th April 2004, at Springfield Playing Fields. Even though it was a cold, windy morning, the boys enjoyed:

  • Penalty Kicks
  • Wellie Throwing
  • Tug-O-War
  • Carry the Buckets
  • Target Board
  • Target Ball
  • Hit the Nail

Again, we owe our thanks to Mr Vaughan Rosbotham, Captain of 115th, for organising this event.


5-A-Side Football Competition

Jubilant Winners: 2nd A Belfast

UUJ, on Friday 20th February 2004, was once again our venue for our annual 5-A-Side Football Competition.

19 teams took part from 11 companies.

Congratulations to the 2nd A Belfast who beat the 120th B Belfast in the final.

Carol Service

Our annual Christmas Carol Service was held on Wednesday 10th December 2003 in Sinclair Seamen's Presbyterian Church (102nd Belfast).

The evening kicked off with the Carol Service, then a Christmas Craft item and lastly refreshments. Their minister, Rev. Drew Abernethy spoke and Alenandra Prebyterian Church's Praise Band lead the worship.

Again, another excellent night. Many thanks, 102nd.


It's A Splash Out

Vaughan Rosbotham (115th) arranged our 'Its a Splash Out' Competition on Monday 17th November 2003 in Ballysillan Leisure Centre. Again, another excellent, well supported night - 9 teams of 6 boys, many thanks Vaughan.

Congratulations to the 2nd Belfast who won.


Crystal Maze Competition

The Crystal Maze Competition was held in Townsend Street on Wednesday 29th October 2003. Six companies took part. Our thanks to the 29th for hosting the competition and to Aaron Duff (102nd) for arranging the games.

Congratulations to the 102nd, who won the competition.


Indiana Land

Our new session commenced this year with a visit to Indiana Land at Dundonald International Ice Bowl on Friday 26th September 2003. Approximately 50 boys came from 5 companies.
